Please check out K. Wearstler's blog my vibe my life. I interviewed her over ten years ago and I'm still obsessed as so many people are! She's such a fearless talent. Her blog logo is also super funky. Congratulations Kelly!
Needed some design inspiration for a project I'm working on, and I always head to 1stdibs. I'm also mildly (actually very) obsessed with their designer profiles and interesting art links. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
I've fallen in love with the ligne roset's Pumpkin series by Pierre Paulin. I'm in the process of redoing my living room and these make me happy each time I see them.
This image from Inside Out magazine's 10th anniversary issue featured on Absolutely Beautiful Things is so uplifting that it gets me very excited for Spring. The cluster of children's artwork on the back wall is also a dizzying happy fun mess! Paired with the calming marble tabletop and white walls, it all works. And those flowers I could stare at all weekend. Must be a great kitchen to spend time in. Thank you Anna for posting this one!
Grace at Design Sponge featured this simple and chic sofa by Stephen Bleeker for Sur&Plus this past week. I'm in such a minimalist mood these days that I wish I could recreate this look in my living room right now.
Kelly Wearstler's tablescapes are inspiring me this week! Check out the great metal sculpture in the image above, large and hard to miss. Also take a look at the over the top wallpaper in the first image, that looks like a huge abstract painting has taken over the foyer of her Hillcrest estate. Each time I think a design idea might be too much I think of this wallpaper and try to go for it. Have a great weekend!
I love this space by Philip Gorrivan. It manages to be edited, classic and modern all at the same time. For further swooning, check out the designer's home in the current issue of Elle Decor.
What a new mix. The pastel, uneven striped walls, neon accents, bold pattern, classic shapes mixed with new...it reminds me of an interesting abstract painting. One of those surprising rooms that comes together through experimenting on set.
I'm an interior designer and stylist living in NYC. I started a design studio called wisteria design (wisterianyc.com) and this blog is a record of some of the things that inspire me everyday. I simply can't get enough of design that is beautiful, modern, easy and fresh. I hope the blog is a continual source of inspiration for everyone!
